During this stage of the project, I successfully translated more than 20 strings from English into Costa Rican Spanish. Initially, these translations were submitted for review, but they were approved fairly quickly, which was very encouraging. Below, I have included several screenshots showing some of the translations that have already been accepted.
So far, there have been a few cases where I needed a deeper understanding of the context before submitting a translation. This is mainly because certain terms cannot be translated directly, as they are reserved words or specific names used by WordPress or the Astra theme itself. In these situations, the original wording must remain unchanged. Likewise, there are cases where specific characters, formatting, or spacing must be preserved exactly as they appear in the original text to ensure the functionality of the software is not affected.
Aside from these considerations, I have not encountered any major difficulties throughout the translation process. Overall, the experience has been smooth, and I am pleased with the progress I have made so far. Attached are some examples of the work I have completed to date.
