As one of my final posts for this project, I would like to present the final results and delivery of the more than 100 translations I completed for the Astra theme on WordPress.
At this stage, the translations have already been reviewed, accepted, and officially published on the WordPress translation platform. This means that any user who chooses to use the Costa Rican Spanish version of the Astra theme will be able to benefit from these translations. It is rewarding to know that my contributions are now part of the official project and will help improve the experience of Spanish-speaking users.
In addition, I have included the link to the contributor leaderboard https://translate.wordpress.org/locale/es-cr/default/wp-themes/astra/, where the individuals who have participated in this translation project can be viewed. I am proud to be among the contributors and, at the time of writing, I am one of the users who has made the highest number of contributions to this project.
I have also attached screenshots showing my completed contributions as well as the corresponding approvals, which serve as evidence of the work completed throughout this project and the successful publication of the translations.
Additionally, I noticed that a Polyglots badge was added to my WordPress profile as recognition for my contributions to the Astra theme translations. Receiving this badge was a very rewarding experience, as it serves as an acknowledgment of the work I completed throughout the project.
This recognition has made me feel both excited and proud, knowing that my efforts have had a real impact on the platform and its community. It is motivating to see that my contributions are not only helping improve accessibility for Costa Rican Spanish speakers, but are also being recognized within the broader WordPress ecosystem. This achievement encourages me to continue contributing to open-source projects and supporting communities that benefit from collaborative efforts.
